Weekly Pool Cleaning Service
The same technician on the same day every week: skimming, brushing, vacuuming, baskets emptied, water tested and balanced for Tucson hard water.

Weekly service and repairs for Foothills pools, spas and water features, including the equipment pads that sit down a slope or behind a wall.
The Catalina Foothills is unincorporated Pima County, running along the base of the Santa Catalinas north of the city, with Skyline and Sunrise cutting across it. Homes here are mostly custom, on rocky hillside lots among saguaro and palo verde, and the pools tend to match: larger pools, attached spas, negative edges, waterfalls and lighting built to look out over the valley at night.
That makes the work more involved than a standard back yard pool. A spa spillover, a negative edge catch basin and a water feature each add plumbing, valves and pumps. Equipment pads are often below the pool on the slope or tucked out of sight behind a wall, which can make them hard to reach and easy to forget. Many Foothills pools were built decades ago, so the heater, the valves and the plumbing at the pad are frequently older than the owner realizes.
The desert is wilder up here too. Rock, gravel and native plants come right to the edge of the deck, and wind carries grit, leaves and seed pods into the water. Negative edge pools also lose water fast to evaporation in dry heat, and every top-off adds more calcium to the waterline.
Everything we do is available in the Catalina Foothills.
The same technician on the same day every week: skimming, brushing, vacuuming, baskets emptied, water tested and balanced for Tucson hard water.
Diagnosis and repair for the problems that stop a pool working: no flow, air in the lines, leaks at the pad, tripped breakers and failed parts.
Pumps that hum, leak, overheat or will not prime, repaired where it makes sense and replaced with a variable speed pump where it does not.
Cartridge and DE filters taken apart, cleaned, inspected and put back, so the pump is not fighting a clogged filter through the heat and dust.
Green, cloudy or black pools brought back after a monsoon, a vacancy or a missed month, with an honest call on when a drain is the better fix.
Draining water that hard water and stabilizer buildup have made impossible to balance, an acid wash where the surface needs it, and a clean start-up.
The white crust on the waterline tile removed without scratching the tile, then kept from coming back with better water balance.
Heaters, heat pumps, salt cells, timers, automation, valves and plumbing at the pad, repaired or replaced and set up to run efficiently.
Scheduled service for community, apartment and hospitality pools, with chemical logs kept and the pool ready for county health inspections.
Spas, spillovers, negative edges and water features each have their own pumps and valves. We check all of them on every visit, including the catch basin and the feature pumps, not just the main pool.
If your equipment sits down the slope or behind a wall, we still go to it every visit. Filter pressure, leaks and pump noise are where problems show first.
Older heaters, valves and plumbing are common here. When something fails, we tell you whether a repair is worth it on equipment that age or whether replacement is the better money.
It depends on the size of the pool, whether there is a spa, negative edge or water features, how much debris the yard drops, and whether chemicals are included. Foothills pools with more features take longer each visit. We quote a flat monthly rate after the first visit, so you know the price first.
Mostly by running water features and fountains in the evening and overnight, which helps the water shed heat, and by running the pump at night when the air is cooler. Shade over part of the pool helps too. Some heat pumps can also chill the water. In the hottest weeks, the bigger concern is that warm water burns through chlorine faster, so the water needs closer attention.
In a Tucson summer, not long. A few days of heat with no chlorine, or one dust storm with nobody skimming, can be enough to start algae. In winter a pool can coast longer, but it still needs its water checked and its baskets emptied.
The pool needs chlorine present every day, but that does not mean adding it by hand daily. A feeder or salt system keeps a steady level between visits, and weekly testing tells us whether it is keeping up. In summer, demand goes up and the settings need adjusting.
Tell us about your pool, spa and any water features, and where the equipment sits. We will come out, test the water, walk the whole system and give you a price.
